At just 23, I’ve already lived a few different lives, each one bringing me a little closer to this dream. I’ve always loved a little sweet treat, I even took cake decorating classes when I was younger. I got my first real job scooping ice cream at my aunt and uncle’s shop when I was 14 and worked at restaurant after restaurant until I turned 18. Eventually, I became a Training Coordinator/Assistant Manager at a Culver’s, where I also met the love of my life. We chased big dreams on small paychecks, even started converting a massive shed into a tiny home. After nearly 4 years at Culver’s, I started thinking of franchising… but deep down, I knew it wasn’t my path. So I pivoted. I got into Property Management, where I now work as a Leasing Consultant. The company is great, the benefits are solid, but something is missing. I just can’t picture myself under fluorescent lighting for the next 40 years, trying to sell something I’m not passionate about. And if the tiny house era taught me anything, it’s that I’m not afraid to think outside of the box and build something different.
After nearly a decade of searching for the right career, I’ve decided to stop searching and start creating it, milkmade is that creation. It’s an extension of myself and I hope you love it as much as I do.
Right now, I’m pouring everything I have into this. I’ve secured the trailer, the LLC, and am onto branding and build-out. I’m doing it all as fast as I can without compromising quality, so thank you for your patience, your excitement, and your support.
